这套筛查2500美元一次，不止卡戴珊，此前已有明星和多家科技投资公司表示对此类产品的兴趣。在他们看来，人们只有在出了问题以后才做核磁，就有些迟了；会有越来越多的精英人士希望通过主动付费筛查的方式，将健康早早掌握在自己手中。这些科技公司还称将不断精进AI技术，提高精确率的同时让成本缩至500美元。

但是，Science Time网站发文称，核磁筛查癌症价格昂贵，且证据有限，多位专家对此表示反对：

纽约内科医生Stuart Fischer称，核磁不是癌症筛查工具，没有证据显示筛查带来的益处。美国预防医学院发言人Prentiss Taylor博士不推荐无症状者做全身扫描，其他包括糖尿病、高血压、心脏病等也不会被核磁筛查出来。

加拿大的Tyler Black博士警告，无症状者做核磁可产生大量假阳性结果，造成不必要的恐慌，比如给他们极大的精神压力，得通过穿刺等有创手段排除困扰等。也许能有一些筛出癌症的个例，但对全人群来说意义不大。产品方过度推销筛查的好处并提供误导性消息以获取大量收入，是“打劫”行为。
